As a complete Nine-Year Education System School, Wenjiang Shou’an School of Chengdu was founded for the purpose of optimizing Wenjiang’s education resources and promoting the education balance. It is located at Group 14, Baihua Community, Shou’an Town, Wenjiang, Chengdu, with a construction area of 22870m² and a total area of 83 Chinese mu (about 55360 m²) and it was put in use in January 2011.
At present, there are 36 classes (including 21 classes of junior middle school and 15 classes of primary school), 1381 students and 139 teaching and administrative staffs. Teachers’ education experience qualification reaches as high as 100%. There are 2 academic leaders, 11 education talents of Wenjiang District, 56 excellent city-or-district-level class teachers, excellent youth teachers and new teachers. And the excellent teachers are 43.3% of the total teachers.
Since its foundation, the school sticks to the school thought of “establishing the school by moral character, comprehensively educating students, no one-way teaching, and student’s study for learning capability”, the target of “insisting in training student’s good characteristics, strengthening class practice and making great efforts for making it the best quality and best characteristic country-side school”, the core value concept of “education as a conscience career and a sensibility career”, focuses on student’s good quality and good characteristics education, strengthens the school’s management, education team construction and education quality, trains student’s basic qualities and skills of “respect, honor, manners, wisdom, courage and health”, promoting student’s all-around development and contributing to the Wenjiang’s education of even education and education for student’s all-around development.
